This year, all pupils in Scoil Mhuire na Trócaire are taking part in the ‘Tour of Europe Challenge’. Each week we are running laps of the school yard. Each lap is counted as 1 km. We keep an account of how many laps each class has run each week and add them up.

Our aim is to visit as many famous monuments around Europe as we can.

Destination One: Big Ben in London. Together, the pupils of Scoil Mhuire na Trócaire ran 462 laps to reach Big Ben. We were all very excited to reach our first destination. Children of all ages also enjoyed learning about this monument.

Destination Two: The Eiffel Tour in Paris, France. All classes are still thoroughly enjoying running as many laps as they can each week. We have less than 150 laps to run until we reach The Eiffel Tour. KEEP RUNNING!
