May 10th was the date of our sponsored walk and we were extremely luck with the weather! The sun shone and we all enjoyed a brisk stroll through Dawson’s Demesne and along the railway line.
We celebrated Catholic Schools’ Week from 30th January – 3rd of February. As is customary in Scoil Mhuire na Trócaire, the cailíní of Rang a Dó hosted a tea party for their grandparents. We held a special prayer service in our School hall and this was followed by a wonderful “Reeling in the Years” themed assembly. As Friday 3rd of February was also the Feast of St. Blaise, Fr. O’Leary blessed the throats of all present. It was a truly enjoyable and joyous occasion.
We made local media, including coverage on Dundalk FM radio as well as a feature in the Dundalk Democrat. Read the full article by using the link below.
