The girls in 1st class celebrated winning 30 marbles in their class marble jar by having a Teddy Bears Picnic. The girls worked hard all year round to win marbles for their jar by receiving compliments from staff members and visitors to their clasroom for showing good behaviour and manners. Well done Rang a hAon!
The summer heat can’t stop Junior Infants in their tracks.
They had great fun playing ball games out on the grass.
Junior Infants love getting outdoors. We went for an ‘Active Nature walk’
With the help of a few girls from first class, they jumped, jiggled, skipped, side-stepped, ran and hopped their way around the school admiring the wonderful gardens and the apple tress with tiny apples starting to grow.
Junior Infants had an amazing first Sports Day at our school.
They ran heats, they overcame obstacles and in the end had a nice ice lolly to cool down.
We brought our favourite teddies to school today. We told the other girls all about the teddies and why they’re so special to us.
We took them to the library and read them stories. Then in the afternoon we shared our treats with them, when we went for a picnic in the sun!
We love dressing up for Halloween.
We watched the Bean na Bróige performance in our school hall.
