Last Friday we held our very first Show and Tell in Junior Infants. We got to bring in our favourite toy to school to tell the class about. We had lots of fun!
Our Parents association organised a fundraiser called Inside out day. We got to wear our own clothes to school … inside out! We had lots of fun.
We got our photographs taken during our first week of school.
Look at our happy faces.
We went on a visit to O’Dowd’s Veterinary clinic. Mary Kate showed us around the clinic. We saw dogs and cats who were resting in recovery. We also saw where all the animals are examined. We had a lovely afternoon.
- We had so much fun at our Big Book Breakfast!! We had cereal and toast with some orange juice! Mrs Kirby read us a story too!
Our school was selected from schools across the county to take part in a sports and fitness programme in conjunction with DKIT college. The girls in 1st class have been enjoying their trips to the Parish Centre each week, where Cillian, Art and Alannah have been putting them through their paces with a fantastic selection of fun and active activities to help promote and encourage physical activity in young children while improving their skills in a number of key areas.
