Ms. Dervla McGeeney’s class
Here are some pictures from our Sports Day. Everyone was brilliant and ran as fast as they could to reach the finish line! Well done to all the girls for taking part and showing great sportsmanship on the day.
We really enjoyed our School Tour to the Armagh Planetarium. We learned some very interesting facts about space and the different planets. We even got the chance to make our own rockets and launch them into the sky!! It was an amazing day and everyone had great fun.
During the week we took part in many activities to celebrate World Book Day. From listening to the author Ruth Campbell share her story “Mr. Wisscoccally” and the inspiration behind it, to dressing up and taking part in some DEAR time- Drop Everything And Read. We really enjoyed getting involved and celebrating our shared love for reading!
We enjoyed decorating and eating some delicious pancakes this week! Some girls decided to get creative with their pancakes as you can see 😆
We had great fun dancing to our favourite songs and raising money for our school this Valentines Day. Everyone looked lovely in their pink and red outfits to mark the occasion.
This week, we have been learning about transport and the different types of vehicles that we might see on the road. We completed a survey to see what sort of vehicles pass our school throughout the day. We had great fun spotting the different vehicles pass by!
